Description:
Jobgether is seeking a Software Engineer II to work remotely in the United States.
The role involves writing, testing, and maintaining high-quality code to support the development of new features and enhancements within the company’s software platform.
The Software Engineer II will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Senior Engineers, to ensure product alignment with requirements.
Responsibilities include developing and unit testing code, participating in technical design and architecture discussions, and conducting peer code reviews to maintain code quality.
The engineer will troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution of platform outages or defects.
The position requires contributing to the development and evolution of Payroll and HR products, collaborating with internal teams to meet product requirements.
The role supports continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices for fast and reliable software releases.
Staying updated with the latest technology trends and focusing on professional development and knowledge sharing within the team is essential.
Requirements:
A BS/MS in Computer Science or 2+ years of equivalent hands-on experience is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience creating code-based solutions with a strong background in C# and .NET.
Familiarity with Java is considered a plus.
Strong experience with modern software engineering practices, including SQL, No-SQL databases, Microservices, TDD, Unit Testing, and CI/CD, is necessary.
A solid understanding of cloud platforms and APIs is required.
Experience with enterprise software and distributed version-control systems, such as Git, is essential.
Experience working with client-side frameworks such as React, Angular, or Bootstrap is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile development concepts and practices is required.
The ability to troubleshoot, diagnose issues, and resolve technical challenges efficiently is necessary.

The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $138,000 per year.
