Description:

The Software Engineer III is responsible for the development and maintenance of the company’s software products.
This role involves designing, developing, documenting, testing, deploying, monitoring, and debugging new and existing software systems and/or applications.
The Software Engineer III will participate in the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design.
Expected duties include writing secure, robust, and easy to maintain code that meets or exceeds industry best practices.
The engineer will analyze, design, and engineer technical solutions to challenging problems, taking risks and challenging the unknown.
Collaboration with team members is essential to help grow overall team expertise in a distributed agile scrum environment.
The role requires learning and applying cutting-edge, full-stack software development practices.
Additional responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned in a timely fashion and mentoring lower-level peers.

Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years of experience working with distributed web applications is required.
At least 2 years of experience with modern front-end frameworks, with a preference for React.
Candidates must have 2 years of experience creating web applications using the .NET framework, NodeJS, or comparable technologies.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with C# or VB.NET is necessary.
The ability to solve problems and understand and learn new programming languages and technologies is essential.
Experience with Test Driven Development, Continuous Development, and Continuous Deployment is required.
Knowledge of database design and tuning, cloud and Azure development, performance and security practices, and automated testing methodologies is necessary.
Familiarity with systems design patterns and agile/scrum development is expected.
Experience or knowledge in AI, data mining, and machine learning is a plus.
