Description:

The Software Engineer III is responsible for the development and maintenance of the company’s software products.
This role involves designing, developing, documenting, testing, deploying, monitoring, and debugging new and existing software systems and/or applications.
The Software Engineer III will participate in the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design.
Expected duties include writing secure, robust, and easy to maintain code that meets or exceeds industry best practices.
The engineer will analyze, design, and engineer technical solutions to challenging problems, taking risks and challenging the unknown.
Collaboration with team members is essential to help grow overall team expertise in a distributed agile scrum environment.
The role requires learning and applying cutting-edge, full stack software development practices.
Additional responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned in a timely fashion and mentoring lower-level peers.

Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years of experience working with distributed web applications is required.
At least 2 years of experience with a modern front-end framework, preferably React, is necessary.
Candidates must have 2 years of experience creating web applications using the .NET framework, NodeJS, or comparable technologies.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with C# or VB.NET is required.
The ability to solve problems and understand and learn new programming languages and technologies is essential.
Experience with Test Driven Development, Continuous Dev, and Continuous Deployment is required.
Knowledge of database design and tuning is necessary.
Experience in cloud and Azure development is required.
Familiarity with performance and security practices, automated testing methodologies, and systems design patterns is essential.
Experience in agile/scrum development is required.
Knowledge of AI, data mining, and machine learning is preferred.
