Rise8 is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their remote team, focused on transforming the United States Government through innovative technology and collaboration.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 3-6 years of software development experience in various programming languages.
Strong communication skills and an interest in a pair-programming environment are essential.
Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies is required.
Proficiency in PHP, Kotlin, Java, or Javascript is necessary, along with experience in Spring Boot, React.JS, Vue, or Redux.
Candidates should have experience with both frontend and backend development, as well as container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and processes such as Git, Concourse, GitLabCI, SonarQube, Fortify, and ThreadFix is important.
Demonstrated experience with API development and comfort in Linux environments is required.
A strong understanding of algorithms, databases, and design patterns is necessary.
A BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
Candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance for U.S. Government work.
