Remote Software Engineer - Level 2

Description:

• The company, Kotis, is seeking a Software Engineer - Level 2 to join their team remotely in select states.
• Kotis is a brand champion and eCommerce solutions provider focused on creating a top-notch swag management experience for clients.
• The successful candidate will work with a team of 3-5 developers to build scalable and efficient applications.
• The position offers a fully remote work environment with a focus on quality, collaboration, and using the latest technologies.
• Responsibilities include developing front- and back-end web applications, collaborating with the technology team, managing project deliverables, designing REST APIs, and participating in code maintenance and reviews.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails, along with a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• 1+ years of professional software development experience or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, and experience with front-end Javascript libraries, TDD/BDD, mobile development, E-commerce, API design, and databases like Postgres or Redis are a plus.
