Description:

Capital Technology Group (CTG) is seeking a Software Engineer Level III to support high-impact civic tech within the federal government.
The role involves designing and implementing prototypes and proof-of-concepts for evaluating new or emerging technologies.
Responsibilities include analyzing benefits and risks of implementing solutions, providing development support for new technologies, and collaborating with other teams to build functional systems that enhance customer experience.
Applicants must be US Citizens and able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree is required.
Candidates must have 9+ years of experience in software development.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, ReactJS, Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, or related languages is necessary.
Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries, as well as back-end languages and JavaScript frameworks, is essential.
Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), web servers (e.g., Apache, Jenkins), and UI/UX design is required.
Candidates must be able to quickly adapt to new projects and technologies.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
Leadership and people management experience is required, along with the ability to provide direction to less senior team members.
A demonstrated interest in learning new systems and technology quickly is necessary.
Ability to discuss technical tasks and team processes with team members and external stakeholders is required.
