Parity is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Polkadot Runtime team, focusing on XCM and system test frameworks.
The role involves designing and implementing cutting-edge protocols for the Polkadot protocol and applications built on it.
Engineers will work on complex, multi-chain problems and design end-to-end test suites for multi-chain applications.

Requirements:
Candidates must be able to work autonomously and solve problems independently.
Collaboration with others in an open-source culture is essential, including peer review as both a reviewer and reviewee.

Candidates should take ownership of their work and be responsible for outcomes, understanding that project completion involves ongoing feedback and improvement.
Good communication skills are necessary, with the ability to present work in “plain English” through blog posts or at conferences.
