Description:
- Allergan Data Labs is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join their team focused on transforming the Allergan Aesthetics beauty business at AbbVie.
- The successful candidate will work on launching new technologies on the AllΔ platform, which caters to millions of consumers and aesthetics providers.
- Responsibilities include championing code quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting design and code reviews, and staying updated on new technologies.
- The role involves working in a startup-oriented environment with the support of a large company.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on front-end and user experience.
- Proficiency in CSS, including Styled Components, Grid, Flexbox, Animations, and Cross-browser compatibility, is required.
- Strong experience with React and NextJS, using TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6/7+), and understanding of state management frameworks are essential.
- Familiarity with unit, integration, and performance testing is necessary.
- Bonus skills include React Native, mobile experience with iOS and Android, accessibility and ADA compliance, and Node.js expertise.
