Description:
- Develop software to enhance donor experience and internal systems at charity: water.
- Work with a cross-functional Growth Squad to address problems from start to finish.
- Collaborate with Product Manager, Designer, and Tech Lead on public user-facing experiences.
- Responsibilities include working on the public website, CMS, online forms, and marketing initiatives.
- Write clean, well-tested code with minimal tech debt and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with other teams supporting user experience, data analytics, and integrated systems.
- Contribute to technical discussions and ensure efficient systems operation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience developing full-stack web applications in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency in a modern MVC framework (preferably Ruby on Rails) and clean JavaScript (preferably React).
- Strong interest in modern front-end development and knowledge of relational databases and caching strategies.
- Agile approach to software development and maintenance cycles.
