Description:

The SDK-Node team is responsible for developing and maintaining the node software that powers the Polkadot network, focusing on design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of key components such as networking, databases, runtime execution, consensus mechanisms, and synchronization logic.

As a Rust Core Developer, you will work with a motivated team of rust and backend experts, discuss features and issues on GitHub, solve complex problems, and create integration and unit tests to ensure node functionality.
Requirements:
You must have at least 3 years of experience as a software engineer.
Significant backend experience is required.
You should be able to work on problems end-to-end, from analysis to implementation and testing.
Clear communication skills and the ability to work as a team player are essential.
Experience with distributed systems is necessary.
You must be able to quickly grasp and learn new concepts.
Taking ownership and feeling responsible for your area of expertise is important.
You should be able to work autonomously and identify performance bottlenecks to resolve them.
Nice to have: Experience in writing Rust and blockchain experience.
