Remote Software Engineer - Software Agent

Description:

• Research, design, develop, and own solutions for the Agent application that operates on over 1 million endpoints globally on Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.
• Lead software development best practices and write well-designed code.
• Enhance and evolve endpoint software to support new platform and client-side features.
• Contribute to testing, performance tuning, refactoring, usability improvements, and automation.
• Provide detailed specifications and participate in all engineering lifecycle phases.
• Prioritize quality in testing and make data-driven decisions for impactful development.

Requirements:

• Preferred experience in Golang programming; interest in programming with Golang is necessary.
• 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-connected client-side applications.
• Previous work as a Software Engineer on an Agent/IoT application.
• Familiarity with systems programming, networking, virtual machine orchestration, DevOps, and shell-scripting languages (Bash/Powershell).
• Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux and/or MacOS application development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
