As a Software Engineer on the Source team, you will manage the ingestion, security, processing, and distribution of source code at scale.
Your role will involve designing and implementing robust distributed systems that handle large customer codebases securely and efficiently.
You will work on enhancing user productivity through code search, navigation, and AI.
Within the first month, you will drive bug fixes and small enhancements while embedding in team processes.
By three months, you will develop end-to-end features using Go and improve source syncing mechanisms.
Within six months, you will maintain and optimize PostgreSQL databases, enhance secure authentication protocols, and collaborate on cross-team projects.

Requirements:

You must have proven experience in building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems, preferably with a strong background in Go and PostgreSQL.
Strong API design skills are required.
Knowledge of front-end technologies, particularly JavaScript, is necessary.
Familiarity with modern authentication protocols and experience in integrating diverse data sources is essential.
A passion for tackling security and scalability challenges in software development is important.
You should be able to work collaboratively across teams to solve complex technical issues.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen interest in developing innovative solutions to enhance code intelligence capabilities are required.
Nice to have: Experience with GraphQL and a deep understanding of Git internals.
