Remote Software Engineer (SWE)

Description:

• PushPress is seeking talented full-stack engineers, mobile engineers, site reliability engineers, data scientists, and data engineers to join their elite engineering team.
• The role involves collaborating with product management and design to create efficient engineering solutions.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining reliable web applications, writing clean and testable code, and enhancing engineering culture.
• The position also involves engaging in engineering recruitment and mentoring less experienced engineers.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional full-stack web development experience with proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, React, and Next.js.
• Proficiency in backend development, databases, third-party integrations, frontend components, state management, performance optimization, and build tools.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality products at scale with a focus on performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex issues in full-stack web applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team and influence technical decisions.
• Optional: Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects demonstrating software engineering skills and passion.
