Description:
Parity is seeking a Software Engineer to work on the Zombienet project, focusing on the design, implementation, testing, and release of the new version of Zombienet-sdk.
The role involves authoring documentation and learning materials related to the new version and migrating the current workload from the TypeScript version to the SDK.
The engineer will contribute to the maintenance of the TypeScript (v1) version of the tool and help the team explore and understand new use cases from the developer community.
Performance and observability enhancements are also part of the responsibilities.
The position is remote and part of a global team dedicated to building open-source technologies for the decentralized internet.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Experience in Rust is required, or a strong interest in learning it.
Proficiency and enthusiasm for working with JavaScript/TypeScript are necessary.
The ability to devise technical solutions and application architecture is essential.
Hands-on experience with observability is required.
Candidates should be able to collaborate in an open-source culture, be open to feedback, and possess a critical mindset.
