Description:
Parity is seeking a Software Engineer to work on the new version of Zombienet-sdk, which is written in Rust.
The role involves designing, implementing, testing, and releasing the new version of the tool.
Responsibilities include authoring documentation and learning materials related to the new version.
The engineer will migrate the current workload from the TypeScript version to the SDK.
The position also requires contributing to the maintenance of the TypeScript (v1) version of the tool.
The engineer will help the team explore and understand new use cases from the developer community.
Contributions to performance and observability enhancements are also expected.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Experience in Rust is required, or a strong interest in learning it.
Proficiency and enthusiasm for working with JavaScript/TypeScript are necessary.
The ability to devise technical solutions and application architecture is essential.
Hands-on experience with observability is required.
Candidates should be able to collaborate with others in an open-source culture and be open to feedback with a critical mindset.
