• The company is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to serve as the primary technical expert for Web Application architecture, focusing on cloud-based integrations and frontend implementation strategies.
• Key responsibilities include architecting end-to-end solutions considering performance, scalability, security, cost, and maintainability, as well as ensuring clean integration of systems for data integrity.
• The role involves designing and implementing scalable microservices for commerce system integrations and analyzing client requirements to define frontend implementation strategies.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams, leading technical discussions, and educating colleagues on best practices are essential aspects of the position.
• The Solution Architect will also perform architectural reviews to advise on performance, scalability, and cost optimization.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable solutions within cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong experience with caching, CDNs, and proxies like Varnish, NGINX, Redis, or Cloudfront is required.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Next.js is essential.
• Experience in e-commerce is necessary.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership qualities are needed to make architectural decisions and communicate them to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with Remix and/or Shopify Hydrogen, expertise in deploying JavaScript functions to cloud environments, and experience in an agency setting.
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
