Description:

  • The Solutions Architect will support Enterprise Account Executives with solution selling into the prospect account base.
  • This role involves building long-lasting relationships with technical contacts within Partners and Distributors.
  • The Solutions Architect will work with partners and distributors to enhance their technical excellence and knowledge of the Picus Security Platform.
  • The position requires driving prospect engagements to achieve a technical win.
  • The candidate will partner with sales executives to plan, prepare, and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
  • Responsibilities include modeling the business case associated with each sales opportunity and successfully matching customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions.
  • The role involves creating and delivering powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition to the customers’ requirements.
  • The Solutions Architect will quarterback RFP responses and coordinate with proper internal resources.
  • Effective communication of client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements is essential.
  • The candidate must keep up to date on competitors’ products in the market and provide feedback and input to product marketing on roadmap requirements and product direction.
  • Managing POC project deliverables and timelines to shorten the sales cycle where possible is also part of the role.
  • Building winning relationships with external customers/prospects, resellers, and internal departments is crucial.

Requirements:

  • The candidate must have experience as a Cybersecurity Solution Architect/Sales Engineer.
  • A proven track record of selling within enterprise environments is required.
  • A solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in networking and cybersecurity is necessary.
  • Excellent presentation and creativity skills with the ability to build quick audience rapport are essential.
  • The candidate should be able to align with Inside Sales, Channel/BD, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Maximizing sales impact with MEDDPICC is a requirement.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is necessary.
  • A strong personal network within the industry is required.
  • The ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner is essential.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Working within or with a SOC environment is also desirable.
  • A growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning are essential.
