Description:
The Solutions Architect will work as a client-facing member of the Software Solutions Delivery Team at Axon, collaborating with clients and project teams to architect and deliver integrations that provide value to public safety partners.
Responsibilities include analyzing IT system architectures, managing technical projects remotely and at client sites, engaging with public safety leadership, ensuring customer needs are met, identifying integration opportunities, recommending deployment plans, and working closely with various stakeholders.
The role involves capturing requirements, implementing third-party solutions, writing code to optimize tasks, and leveraging API capabilities.
The Solutions Architect must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, 3+ years of experience in technical systems and software solutions, hands-on experience with APIs, intermediate skills in SQL, Python, Java, and Cloud (AWS and/or Azure), advanced networking knowledge, and expertise in Linux frameworks.
Other requirements include familiarity with cloud technologies, excellent communication skills, project management experience, willingness to drive company-wide initiatives, ability to manage multiple projects, commitment to Axon’s mission, and passing a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience in analyzing and developing technical systems and software solutions
Hands-on experience with APIs structures and systems integration (REST, SOAP)
Intermediate skills in SQL, Python, Java, and Cloud (AWS and/or Azure)
Advanced networking knowledge and experience in managing technical projects, implementations, and integrations
Expert-level understanding of Linux frameworks, including containerization platforms (Docker preferred)
Familiarity with cloud technologies, software development packages, and data management tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Project Management experience and/or certifications are a plus
Willingness to drive company-wide initiatives and manage multiple projects
Commitment to Axon’s mission and passing a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check
