Remote Solutions Engineer

Description:

• As a Solutions Engineer, you will help clients evaluate the Dynatrace Observability & Security Platform.
• You will partner with sales representatives to identify new sales opportunities as well as incremental sales opportunities within existing accounts.
• Collaborating with local partners is also part of your role to help identify new sales opportunities and incremental sales opportunities within existing accounts.
• You will provide technical leadership during the Discovery, Solution Evaluation, and Solution Proposal stages of the opportunity sales cycle.
• Taking ownership of solution evaluations and Proofs-of-Concept in support of sales opportunities, either directly or through channel partners, is expected.
• You will maintain and continuously develop your technical knowledge.
• Sharing knowledge across the team and enhancing personal and team capabilities is a key responsibility.
• Providing feedback to Product Management for necessary market enhancements and escalation of technical issues is required.
• As a thought leader in the market and local region, you will support key marketing events, ensuring top demos are delivered at demo booths and delivering keynote presentations on the main stage.
• Working with local Sales and Solutions Engineering leadership to identify learning and development opportunities for yourself and the local team is essential to maintain the company's leadership position in the market.

Requirements:

• You should have ideally 3-4 years of experience supporting Sales teams in Presale roles, demonstrating a track record leading to sales success.
• Being an excellent team player with the ability to work across all disciplines is necessary.
• You must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical value into business value.
• Ideally, you should have 3-5 years of experience working with Java, .NET, PHP, or JavaScript languages, and be knowledgeable about web technologies and SQL.
• Experience with typical operating systems, including Windows and Linux, is required.
• You should have the ability to troubleshoot technical issues to produce a working outcome and manage this process effectively.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and support various salespeople and other Solutions Engineers is essential.
• A strong desire to grow professionally, adapt to an ever-changing environment, and be coachable is a must.
• Fluency in English, French, and Dutch is required.

Desired Experience & Skills:

• Experience with technologies and techniques related to Observability is preferred.
• Familiarity with Cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and Openshift is beneficial.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks, including JQuery, Dojo, and AngularJS, is a plus.
• Knowledge of Java technology, including Servlets, Struts, Spring, Web Services, EJB, and JMS, is desirable.
• Experience with Cloud and Big Data technologies is advantageous.
