Description:

  • Normalyze, a fast-growing cybersecurity software company, is seeking a Solutions/Sales Engineer specializing in facilitating the sales process for their advanced technology solutions.
  • The role involves bridging the gap between product development and sales functions, engaging with sophisticated security teams, and representing Normalyze to prospective clients.
  • The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and passionate about delivering innovative security solutions to complex cloud data security challenges.
  • Responsibilities include supporting pre-sales engagements, determining solution requirements, providing technical answers, delivering product demonstrations, managing resources for Proof of Value exercises, collaborating with internal teams, and supporting various sales and marketing efforts.
  • The position requires working closely with Sales Directors to build compelling business justifications for clients.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional sales/solutions engineering experience, including Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Professional Services, and Solutions Architecture.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), container, and microservices technologies.
  • Deep background in cybersecurity and networking technologies, including identity security, security operations, incident response, and security automation.
  • Knowledgeable about data security, data storage technologies, and data compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally, with a history of quickly learning new technologies and solutions.
  • Experience in solution selling, exceptional customer service, and developing lasting technical relationships with customers.
  • Ability to adapt to different team selling environments, be a self-starter, and have outstanding presentation skills.
