Description:
Normalyze, a fast-growing cybersecurity software company, is seeking a Solutions/Sales Engineer specializing in facilitating the sales process for their advanced technology solutions.
The role involves bridging the gap between product development and sales functions, engaging with sophisticated security teams, and representing Normalyze to prospective clients.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and passionate about delivering innovative security solutions to complex cloud data security challenges.
Responsibilities include supporting pre-sales engagements, determining solution requirements, providing technical answers, delivering product demonstrations, managing resources for Proof of Value exercises, collaborating with internal teams, and supporting various sales and marketing efforts.
The position requires working closely with Sales Directors to build compelling business justifications for clients.
Requirements:
5+ years of professional sales/solutions engineering experience, including Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Professional Services, and Solutions Architecture.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), container, and microservices technologies.
Deep background in cybersecurity and networking technologies, including identity security, security operations, incident response, and security automation.
Knowledgeable about data security, data storage technologies, and data compliance standards.
Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally, with a history of quickly learning new technologies and solutions.
Experience in solution selling, exceptional customer service, and developing lasting technical relationships with customers.
Ability to adapt to different team selling environments, be a self-starter, and have outstanding presentation skills.
