The Sr DevOps Engineer will enable software development teams to operate efficiently and securely, supporting teams across the U.S. and internationally.
Responsibilities include creating and maintaining services, ensuring security and reliability, and driving innovation in DevOps practices.
The role requires collaboration and mentorship, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in DevOps.
Key outcomes for the first year include becoming the go-to expert, designing developer self-service tools, and documenting processes thoroughly.
The position involves improving development team velocity, providing tools and documentation, and troubleshooting issues in a high-availability SaaS environment.
The engineer will also design and extend automated deployment pipelines and support services on EKS and GKE.

Requirements:

Candidates should have a passion for creating innovative solutions and a strong background in Computer Science or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps practices is required.
Solid coding and scripting skills, with at least 7 years of experience, are necessary.
Foundational knowledge of AWS, GCP, Linux, Windows 2012+, VMWare, and networking skills is required, with at least 5 years of experience.
Strong experience in automating cloud and on-premises Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) is essential.
A deep understanding of Kubernetes/GKE is required.
Bonus qualifications include experience with telecom stacks (Freeswitch, NTEX, WebRTC, or Twilio) and knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Nagios, Datadog, Graylog, Elastic Search).
