Remote Sr. Front-End Engineer

• The ideal candidate will be a technical leader who excels at creating polished, performant user experiences across both web and mobile platforms using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and React Native.
• This role requires deep expertise in modern front-end technologies, architectural design principles, and the ability to mentor junior developers.
• Responsibilities include architecting and developing high-quality applications using React for web and React Native for mobile platforms, leading the design and implementation of reusable component libraries and design systems, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• The Senior Front-End Engineer will establish best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization strategies, perform code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to strengthen the team's technical capabilities.
• The role also involves mentoring junior developers, optimizing applications for maximum speed and responsiveness, implementing automated testing frameworks, troubleshooting complex issues, and staying current with emerging technologies.
• The engineer will contribute to technical documentation, work with Product and UX/UI designers, identify and address technical debt, and participate in the full product development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with React and React Native is required.
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/Sass/Less is essential.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Context API is necessary.
• Proficiency in implementing responsive design and ensuring cross-browser compatibility is required.
• A strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL integration is needed.
• Candidates should have experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web and mobile applications is important.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies is required.
• Experience with version control systems, primarily Git, is necessary.
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and implementation practices is essential.
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members is required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts are essential.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
