Remote Sr. Front End Engineer (Multi-Chain)

Description:

• The Senior JavaScript Frontend Engineer will be responsible for using their multi-chain development experience to help build out the AppKit at WalletConnect.
• They will work closely with the design team to conceptualize and ideate new products/features.
• The role involves delivering a compelling end-user UX, translating designs from Figma into modular UI components, and extending the architecture of the AppKit to support non-EVM blockchains.
• The engineer will be expected to bring in their own ideas to enhance the products and lead initiatives from ideation to delivery.
• The tech stack includes Typescript, React, NextJS, Figma, Solidity, and various blockchain technologies like Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, Bitcoin, and Cosmos.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a frontend React developer.
• Strong portfolio showcasing delightful web applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, consistency, and code quality.
• Experience in building frontend/UI/UX for web3/blockchain products.
• Proficiency in working across Non-EVM & EVM chains such as Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, Bitcoin, and Cosmos.
• Nice to have: Domain experience in crypto, building/extending design systems, building framework agnostic tools, and open-source contributions.
