Remote Sr. Front End Engineer (Multi-Chain)

Description:

• WalletConnect is seeking a Senior JavaScript Frontend Engineer to join the AppKit (Web3Modal) team and enhance its multi-chain capabilities.
• The role involves collaborating with the design team to conceptualize new products/features and deliver a compelling end-user UX.
• Responsibilities include developing software in TypeScript using web-components/React/NextJS/CSS, translating designs from Figma into modular UI components, and extending the architecture of the AppKit to support non-EVM blockchains.
• The position offers the opportunity to lead initiatives from ideation to delivery and contribute ideas for product improvement.
• The tech stack includes Typescript, React, NextJS, Figma, Solidity, and various blockchain technologies like Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, Bitcoin, and Cosmos.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a frontend React developer.
• Strong portfolio showcasing delightful web applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, consistency, and code quality.
• Experience in developing frontend/UI/UX for web3/blockchain products.
• Proficiency in building across Non-EVM & EVM chains such as Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, Bitcoin, and Cosmos.

Nice to have:
