Description:
The Sr. Frontend Software Engineer will be part of the Experian Consumer Services (ECS) team, focusing on providing Financial Power to Allâ„¢ through credit education and identity protection solutions.
Responsibilities include providing technical leadership to a team of engineers, managing and motivating the front-end engineering team, leading architectural and technical improvement projects, ensuring the quality and stability of the front-end codebase, collaborating with team members and stakeholders, developing user-facing features, and optimizing the application for speed, scalability, and maintainability.
The ideal candidate should be well-rounded, self-motivated, experienced with UI technologies like Angular, React, Vue, etc., and have a portfolio showcasing recent project designs and/or code samples.
Qualifications include 7+ years of expert UI programming skills with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, experience with React and/or Angular, proficiency in JavaScript frameworks and single page application design, strong computer science fundamentals, and experience with responsive design, web standards, and UI/UX best practices.
Bonus skills include active collaboration in open-source communities, experience with CSS pre-processors, node development workflows, data visualization APIs, and previous mobile development experience.
The position requires a degree in computer science or a related field.
Requirements:
Exceptionally skilled Front-End Web Engineer with 7+ years of experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, Angular, and Node.js.
Deep technical expertise in JavaScript frameworks, single page application design, and strong computer science fundamentals.
Proficiency in DOM, asynchronous event-programming models, cross-browser development, responsive design, web standards, and UI/UX best practices.
Experience with blue/green deployments, multiple JavaScript/CSS frameworks, UI testing and automation frameworks, and Agile/Scrum methodology.
Bonus skills include collaboration in open-source communities, experience with CSS pre-processors, node development workflows, data visualization APIs, and mobile development experience.
Degree in computer science or related field.
