Remote Sr. Software Engineer, Merchant Experience at Recharge Payments

Description:

Recharge is a leading subscription platform dedicated to simplifying retention and growth for ecommerce brands.
The Sr. Software Engineer will be part of the Merchant Experience team responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining merchant administration user experiences.
The role involves developing, maintaining, and debugging high-impact product features within the merchant experience ecosystem.
The engineer will collaborate closely with the team to ensure the merchant experience is modern, performant, and reliable for merchant administrators.
The tech stack includes Python, Flask, React with Remix and Chakra UI, Vue.js, GCP, Elasticsearch, Redis, SaaS, CloudSQL/MySQL, Terraform, and more.
The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of relevant development experience, proficiency in Python and React frameworks, experience with large-scale frontend architecture, and a passion for engineering simple solutions to complex problems.

5+ years of relevant development experience in fast-paced environments.
Proficiency in Python and Flask.
Experience with React frameworks such as Remix or NextJS.
Experience with large-scale frontend architecture, framework migration, component and design library systems.
Experience with TypeScript is preferred.
Ability to develop, maintain, and debug product features throughout the stack.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Prior e-commerce experience is preferred.
