Description:

• Decentraland is the world’s first fully decentralized, Ethereum blockchain-based virtual social world, built, governed, and owned by its users.
• The Data Analytics team member will enhance data-driven decision-making for product and content teams.
• Responsibilities include transforming, cleaning, and modeling raw data into structured datasets using DBT, developing and maintaining data models, and ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• The role involves implementing data quality checks, collaborating with stakeholders to enforce data governance best practices, and designing metrics and KPIs for new products or features.
• The position requires advanced analytics to shape data products and empower user experiences, as well as coordinating with internal stakeholders to determine business data reporting and analysis requirements.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst, or in similar roles, with a proven record of delivering successful, user-centric data solutions.
• A proactive, learning-oriented mindset, actively seeking opportunities in a unique platform with many unknown challenges.
• A clear focus on business and product objectives and results.
• Strong collaboration skills and a sense of teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas within a cross-functional team.

• Proven experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, or Analytics Engineering.
• Solid understanding of ETL & ELT principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database systems, as well as proficiency in Python.
• Experience with tools like Snowflake, dbt, Metabase, or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
