Description:
Allergan Data Labs is seeking a Staff Backend Software Engineer to join their team focused on transforming the Allergan Aesthetics beauty business at AbbVie.
The successful candidate will work on innovative technologies like the Allē platform, which caters to millions of consumers, aesthetics providers, and colleagues in the US.
Responsibilities include collaborating with key stakeholders, ensuring operational stability, championing code quality, conducting design and code reviews, and mentoring software engineers.
The role involves working on strategic architecture, systems, and projects with a 6-12 month horizon, negotiating technical decisions, and contributing to software architecture decisions.
Required to have at least 10+ years of experience as a Backend or Full Stack Software Engineer, strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, GraphQL, Microservices, Event Driven Architecture, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, data processing applications, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, code testing, DevOps tools, and exposure to React, NextJS, and React Native.

Requirements:
Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Backend or Full Stack Software Engineer.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, GraphQL.
Experience with Microservices, Event Driven Architecture, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
Familiarity with data processing applications, data structures, algorithms, design patterns.
Proficiency in PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, code testing, DevOps tools.
Exposure to React, NextJS, React Native is a bonus.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, ensure operational stability, champion code quality, conduct design and code reviews, mentor software engineers.
