Remote Staff Cloud Engineer

Description:

• Thrasio is seeking a staff Cloud Engineer to join their Cloud Engineering team responsible for managing the cloud infrastructure, release tooling, and services platform.
• The role involves leading a team of 2-3 engineers in India and the US, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and automation, and maintaining system availability and configuration.
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, networking, and Python, along with some team leadership experience.
• This is a remote position where the candidate will collaborate with team members globally and work on deploying new technologies, maintenance activities, and support requests.

Requirements:

• 8 or more years of technical experience supporting and maintaining production systems.
• 1 or more years of management experience.
• Strong understanding of Linux or other POSIX-based operating systems.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, and/or Terragrunt.
• Experience operating infrastructure in AWS.
• Solid networking knowledge.
• Some experience with Python.
