The Staff Data Engineer will join the GenAI squad in Brazil and focus on generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LLMs fine-tuning, and data pipelines.
The role involves developing and maintaining data models and structures for efficient querying and analysis.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines to process large volumes of data, implementing automated data quality checks, and promoting a supportive work environment that prioritizes wellbeing.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience creating robust and scalable data models based on business requirements.
Experience in collaborating to collect, prepare, and analyze complex business data is required.
The ability to engage with engineering and product teams to elicit requirements and present solutions to management is necessary.
Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts, particularly generative AI, is preferred.
Knowledge of data pipeline tools and technologies such as Airflow, EMR, and Kafka is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable with big data concepts and maintaining data consistency across the data ecosystem.
Prior experience in data modeling, data pipelines, SQL, Python, and advanced/fluent English is mandatory.
