Remote Staff Developer, Full Stack

Description:

• The Staff Developer, Full Stack position at Workleap is specifically dedicated to the Innovation Lab where new products are built from scratch.
• The Innovation Lab operates with a startup mindset, focusing on agility and intensity to push boundaries and create innovative experiences.
• In this role, you will work on 2 new products within the Lab, collaborating closely with co-founders, product managers, designers, and other developers.
• Responsibilities include developing new features, solving technical problems, maintaining clean architecture, and providing support to early adopters.
• A typical week involves developing new features (60%), design and technical feedback (25%), supporting early adopters (10%), and team meetings (5%).
• Future challenges include building new features, collaborating with the platform team, and enhancing development practices within the Lab.

Requirements:

• Solid skills in back-end software development using Azure, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, C#, .NET, and MongoDB are required.
• Good skills in front-end software development using TypeScript, React, and CSS are necessary.
• Experience with DDD, TDD, SOLID, KISS, and YAGNI principles is essential.
• Proficiency in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests is a must.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for stakeholders and the team is crucial.
• Familiarity with current software architecture trends, performance, security, and usability best practices is required.
• Experience in collaborating with designers, engineers, and product managers throughout product and design lifecycles is necessary.
• Autonomy, high agency, and being great to work with are important qualities.
• Experience in startup environments is considered a bonus.
