Description:
Rialtic is an enterprise software platform focused on empowering health insurers and healthcare providers to manage critical business functions.

The Staff Engineer will work on the core healthcare claims processing platform team and will be responsible for building solutions to improve workflows across multiple engineering teams.
The role involves supporting client evaluations and implementations, live system support, site reliability, system testing, monitoring, and logging/alerting integrations.
The position requires a customer-first, quality-oriented mindset and a data-driven approach to engineering efforts.
The tech stack includes Golang for core processing and Python for clinical and financial analytics.
Responsibilities include developing core platform features, collaborating with engineering peers, partnering with the cloud/SRE team, assisting the infosec team, influencing best practices, and mentoring less-experienced developers.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8-10+ years of hands-on professional experience with distributed systems engineering and asynchronous processing.
A minimum of 5+ years of coding experience with Golang, including shipping production systems written primarily in Go, is required.
Candidates should have 5+ years of hands-on experience with core technologies in a cloud environment, including Linux, Bash scripting, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
At least 2+ years of meaningful coding experience with Python is necessary.
Experience with application, server, and service security, secure development, and cryptography is required.
Strong capabilities in testing and test automation, including system performance qualification and monitoring, are essential.
Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and key-value stores is required, along with proficiency in SQL.
Excellent asynchronous communication, listening, and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with a motivation to learn new tools and technologies.
Experience with additional technologies such as R, Pandas, observability tools, and healthcare data is a plus but not required.
