Description:

Rialtic is seeking a Staff Engineer with extensive software engineering experience to join the Engines & Data team.
The team is responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of healthcare policy engines that are central to the company's cloud-native, distributed healthcare payment integrity solution.
The engines handle millions of claim lines per day while meeting service level agreements for turnaround time.
The role involves building new engines and implementing new architectures to enhance functionality and performance.
Collaboration with software engineers and data scientists is essential to integrate predictive models into the product suite.
The position requires a customer-first, quality-oriented mindset and involves working with large volumes of data for complex analyses.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of hands-on experience as a software developer in a professional environment, particularly with production systems.
A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Python applications, including dependency management and commonly used libraries in data science.
Relevant experience in data science and predictive analytics, including model selection, building, refining, and maintenance.
Strong capabilities in testing and test automation are required.
Experience as a technical lead in completing software projects is necessary.
Proficiency in shell scripting, Git, and continuous integration workflows/pipelines is expected.
Familiarity with SQL or similar query tools/languages is required.
Experience in building and debugging data-rich applications and working with AWS is essential.
Strong listening and interpersonal skills, along with a commitment to continuous learning, are important.
