Remote Staff Frontend Software Engineer

• Mysten Labs is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to join their engineering team and drive the frontend vision for their products.

• Responsibilities include crafting developer experiences by building well-documented TypeScript SDKs for external developers to integrate with the platform.
• Key technologies used include TypeScript, React, Tailwind, Next.js, Vite, React Native, Expo, Rust, Node.js, Bun, Prisma, and Drizzle.
• The engineer will collaborate with product and design teams to implement and launch core features, explore new frontend product areas, and shape long-term technical strategy.
• Engagement with open source developers and dApp builders is essential to improve the dapp building experience and contribute to the broader ecosystem.
• Staying updated with the latest frontend trends and participating in technical discussions is also part of the role.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern JS frameworks like React.
• The ability to navigate multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment is required.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills are necessary to partner effectively with remote teams and discuss complex topics with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Candidates should be self-directed, innovative, and action-oriented in fast-paced environments, with a passion for building new things and thriving in ambiguity.
• A solid understanding of building reusable, extensible, and modular software components is essential.
• Familiarity with React Native is a plus but not required.
