Description:

  • The Staff Full-Stack Engineer will build the next generation of Agora's governance applications, focusing on product development, scaling, and user experience.
  • The role involves close collaboration with the head of engineering, design, and product to build and own features from start to finish.
  • Responsibilities include working on the front-end, determining backend data management, and writing automated tests and documentation.
  • 2025 is expected to be a significant year for Agora, with numerous new customers and improvements planned for contracts, architecture, data layer, and mobile experience.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience working on at least three production-grade stacks and distributed systems using object-oriented languages.
  • Proficiency in Typescript, React, and Next.js is essential, along with experience in data pipelines using Python and SQL.
  • A solid understanding of Ethereum’s architecture and familiarity with Layer 2 solutions is required.
  • Ability to read and understand Solidity code is necessary.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, particularly in building scalable and maintainable systems, are expected.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable code that promotes collaboration within a codebase is essential.
  • Candidates should be ready to start committing code from day one.
