Remote Staff Full-Stack Engineer (Web Experience)

Description:

• As a Staff Engineer at Kpler, you will be responsible for developing the notifications systems, serving as the technical leader for notification-related projects.
• Your role involves leading the architectural design and technical direction of the notifications queuing system, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• You will mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, collaborate with product managers to define technical roadmaps, and enforce best practices in software development.
• Your responsibilities include tackling technical challenges, evaluating technologies to enhance the system, and overseeing the software development lifecycle.
• The position requires staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure innovation in the notification system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of seven years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on notifications or queueing systems.
• Proven track record in designing scalable, real-time notification solutions.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or Typescript, with additional experience in Java or Python being a bonus.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and leadership abilities.
• Previous experience in a senior technical leadership or architectural role is desirable.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture is a plus.
