Description:

  • The Staff-Level Backend Engineer (Web3) will be responsible for developing products on a protocol, including frontends, public APIs, and SDKs, to facilitate seamless integration of the protocol into the ecosystem.
  • The role involves managing a backend synchronized with multiple blockchains to provide advanced data and features.
  • Collaboration includes regular code reviews, sharing code practices, and gaining a deep understanding of the codebase and features.
  • Development tasks include owning and implementing features, ensuring code clarity, optimizing backend performance, and justifying design choices.
  • Management responsibilities involve organizing sprints, estimating specs, communicating with the product team, and providing an engineering perspective on product reviews.
  • Knowledge sharing includes sharing expertise with other backend developers and ensuring sufficient documentation for backend users.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in Backend development, with node and typescript being essential, and nestjs being nice to have.
  • 3-4 years of experience in the web3 space, with a particular interest in defi.
  • Rust web3 experience is a nice-to-have, especially with reth, alloy, and the paradigm stack.
  • Must be based outside of Europe between UTC-7 and CET timezones.
