RYZ Labs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join one of our clients' teams.
The role involves leading the development, deployment, and optimization of machine learning models that drive the platform’s core capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, data science, and software engineering.
Extensive experience in building scalable ML solutions in cloud environments is required.
Startup experience is essential, as the candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a proven ability to build and scale systems from the ground up.
Key responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of machine learning models, architecting and deploying ML models on cloud platforms, providing mentorship to junior engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving innovation in machine learning, and collaborating on data pipeline design.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software engineering and machine learning.
A proven track record in leading ML projects from conception to deployment in production environments is required.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and DevOps practices for ML model deployment is necessary.
A background in data engineering and big data technologies is highly desirable.
Startup experience is mandatory; candidates must demonstrate experience in building and scaling ML systems in a startup environment.
Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other ML frameworks is required.
A strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and optimization techniques is essential.
Experience with NLP, computer vision, and large language models is necessary.
Familiarity with data engineering tools and techniques (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) is preferred.
Strong knowledge of software development best practices and version control systems (e.g., Git) is required.
A Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is necessary.
Relevant certifications in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Cloud Development are a plus.
