As a Staff Ruby on Rails Engineer, you will maintain and enhance a robust codebase for cybersecurity applications.
Your role will involve working with legacy code and providing crucial bug fixes to ensure system stability and security.
Although new feature development is less frequent, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and scalability of the system through continuous improvement.
Collaboration with internal teams will be key to resolving both internal and customer-reported issues.

Requirements:

You must have 6+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails, with experience in legacy code preferred.
Familiarity with Python, Go, and Kubernetes is required.
You should possess strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and Memcached.
Experience with GCP and DevOps processes is necessary.
Familiarity with RHEL and security compliance practices is important.
An English level B2 Upper is required.
Only professionals from Argentina will be considered.

The position is remote and offers a full-time contract.
The salary is up to 5,500 USD per month.
You will have a direct contract for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal based on performance.
The selection process includes an asynchronous video interview, a brief call with the Workana Account Manager, a cultural interview, a technical conversation with the partner, and possibly a final interview with the client.
