Description:

Ondo Finance is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to secure their blockchain-based financial products and infrastructure.
The role involves leading security architecture reviews, implementing controls for on-chain and off-chain systems, and ensuring high security standards as the company scales.
The engineer will work closely with product and engineering teams to build and maintain secure systems that protect digital assets worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
Key outcomes include establishing robust security infrastructure, designing security systems for rapid product development, and positioning Ondo as a leader in blockchain security.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a significant focus on blockchain technology.
A strong understanding of cryptography and blockchain security principles is required.
Proven experience in securing smart contracts and DeFi protocols is essential.
Expertise in security architecture for distributed systems is necessary.
Experience with incident response and security monitoring is required.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to read code to identify security risks and write code in common scripting languages for security solutions and automation.

Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are required.
