Remote Staff Software Engineer

Description:

• Storable is looking for a Staff Software Engineer proficient in Ruby on Rails to lead a team working on their platform.
• The role involves building full-stack systems using Ruby on Rails or JavaScript (Node.js and React) with opportunities to work on Rust, Elixir, and Lua.
• Technologies used include Postgres, AWS, and ElasticSearch.
• Responsibilities include driving solutions for customer problems, collaborating with product and user experience teams, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to project design and deployment ecosystem improvement.
• The position requires 12+ years of professional software development experience, expertise in Ruby or JavaScript, ability to analyze requirements and improve designs, experience in designing small to medium scale systems, and a quality-driven mindset.
