Description:

As a Staff Software Engineer in Backend, you will advocate for and coach your team while solving backend challenges, engaging in hands-on coding, and scaling product success in a fast-paced startup environment.
The role requires a deep understanding of backend engineering, with a focus on performance and scalability, as well as the ability to identify and build the right abstractions to support other engineers.
You will help lead and potentially manage a team of backend engineers, collaborate on the technical vision, lead discussions on complex projects, and improve engineering processes and tools.
The position also involves recruiting and developing interview questions while fostering a culture of excellence, velocity, and humility.
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of backend engineering experience is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of technical leadership experience, including leading and/or managing teams.
A proven track record of shipping high-quality products and leading projects at scale is essential.
The ability to translate business and product ideas into engineering solutions is required.
A desire to work in a fast-paced environment and continuously grow and master your craft is necessary.
