Description:
Join the Factory software development team at Impinj, working on a complex system of microservices to enhance global production automation efficiency and quality.
Analyze and address inefficiencies in production automation processes, proposing and implementing software solutions to optimize operations.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices for global production automation.
Provide tier-3 support for the Factory system, diagnose and resolve software issues, and monitor system performance.
Develop and integrate unit and functional tests for microservices, manage projects from feasibility studies to delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Offer guidance on standard methodologies, conduct code reviews, and stay informed about industry trends to enhance development processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience in software development.
Proficiency in C#, .Net Core, and Web services development.
5-8 years of software development experience with a proven track record.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, SQL, and scripting languages.
Familiarity with BDD/TDD practices, Agile team environment, and dedication to continuous learning.
Ability to select appropriate tools and approaches for each project.
