The role involves developing DailyPay’s strategic product offerings, working with a cross-functional team of software engineers, product management, and UX designers.
The position requires building complex software systems that are delivered to customers, communicating with users and technical teams to gather requirements, and designing software product features.
Candidates will engage in full-stack development and have a basic understanding of web front-ends, while also mentoring junior engineers.
The role demands knowledge of conventional and cloud-based infrastructure, as well as experience in designing and deploying Big Data pipelines using tools like Hadoop, Spark, or MapReduce.
Familiarity with Agile or Kanban methodologies and experience using Jira for software engineering is essential.
The work environment is fast-paced and startup-like, encouraging creativity and collaboration.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
Proficiency in writing maintainable, high-quality code in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Java, C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript is required.
Experience in designing and developing microservices in cloud computing services like AWS, Azure, or GCP is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with serverless architecture, CI/CD, data management, and security best practices.
Demonstrated experience in building complex software systems and large-scale distributed services is essential.
Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) is preferred, along with a willingness to learn.
Candidates must be able to take a project from scoping requirements to product launch.
Experience using source control tools such as Git or Perforce is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
