As a Staff Software Engineer, you will take ownership of major product areas, designing and improving tools for veterinary clinics.
You will manage systems that handle billions in transactions, allowing clinics to focus on patient care.
The role involves leading the development of mobile applications for veterinary clinics and pet parents.
You will collaborate with the design team on feature implementation and user experience.
The position requires working with native mobile components and the latest mobile technologies.
Tools used include React Native, Expo, Typescript, Python, Django, and Git.

Requirements:

You must have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in building mobile applications using React Native.
Experience in creating a successful production mobile application is required.
Fluency in JavaScript as a prototyped and functional language is necessary.
Good software testing habits are expected.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
You should be able to adapt quickly and manage multiple responsibilities.
A strong desire to help customers succeed is important.
A positive attitude and team mentality are required.
Experience with backend services and fetching data from API endpoints is needed.
Tech/start-up work experience is a plus.

The typical base pay range for this role is $170,000/year - $250,000/year, with a specific range for Colorado being $180,000 - $220,000.
