Join Ephemera as a Staff Software Engineer (React Native Application) and play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing React Native iOS and Android mobile applications.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality, production-grade consumer mobile applications with a strong focus on quality, performance, and impact.
Collaborate with staff engineers and partners across the organization to ensure technical agreement with other systems, products, and vision.
Use your technical expertise to improve team performance and achieve extraordinary results at a high technical level.
Advise the leadership team on essential technical considerations to ensure engineering excellence and successful high-impact initiatives.
Stress-test React Native SDKs by developing and benchmarking production-grade applications.

Requirements:

A minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in building production-grade mobile applications at scale is required.
The ability to technically lead a team of high-quality engineers and communicate progress clearly to leadership is essential.
Advanced proficiency in React Native app development is a must.
Knowledge of Swift and Kotlin for effective iOS and Android development is required.
Experience in building an app from scratch to scale is necessary.
Familiarity with open-source projects and collaboration with external developers is important.
Knowledge of web3 development or messaging technologies is highly desirable.
Experience with peer-to-peer or instant messaging systems and protocols is a nice-to-have.
Prior involvement in open-source projects and public communication is preferred.
An eye for design, ensuring pixel-perfect alignment and excellent user experiences is beneficial.

The position offers a competitive compensation package that includes base salary and equity.
The salary range is between $230k-$265k base, depending on experience and location.
