Remote Technical Lead/Solutions Architect

Description:

• VivSoft is seeking an experienced Technical Lead/Solutions Architect to work remotely in the USA.
• The candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and enhancing technical architecture in a cloud environment, specifically utilizing AWS.
• Responsibilities include architecting, designing, and implementing complex software systems on virtualized cloud platforms.
• The role involves developing and maintaining microservices architecture using open-source Java technology in an agile software development environment.
• The candidate will apply DevOps and CI/CD methodologies, using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, SonarQube, and JMeter to streamline and automate deployment processes.
• The position requires delivering high-quality agile software solutions, incorporating best practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Adaptable Software Design.
• Knowledge of technical environments related to SAM.gov or FPDS.gov domains is essential to ensure project scope requirements are met.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be willing to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
• An AWS certified architect with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and enhancing technical architecture using a cloud environment is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in agile software development, including Microservices architecture using open-source Java technology, is necessary.
• Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience designing and developing complex software systems on a virtualized cloud environment such as Amazon AWS.
• A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience developing and deploying microservices in a cloud environment is preferred.
• Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in DevOps and CI/CD concepts using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, and testing tools like SonarQube and JMeter.
• Demonstrated experience delivering agile software solutions using best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Adaptable Software Design is required.
