We are seeking a talented UI/UX Front-End Software Engineer to join our PriceAdvantage team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about crafting intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user experiences.
You will work closely with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to develop responsive, high-performance web applications that provide a seamless experience for our users.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing visually appealing user interfaces (UI) and ensuring a seamless user experience across websites and software applications.
You will translate wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups into code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to optimize user interaction.
The role involves optimizing applications for speed, scalability, and accessibility, and writing clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
You will work with back-end developers to ensure seamless data flow and conduct usability testing to gather feedback for refining the user experience.
Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in UI/UX and front-end development is essential.
Troubleshooting and resolving UI/UX issues to enhance user satisfaction is also part of the role.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Front-End Engineer, UI/UX Developer, or in a similar role is required.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is necessary.
Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS) and UI component libraries (e.g., Material-UI, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap) is expected.
Knowledge of responsive design principles and accessibility standards is essential.
A strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and design principles is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is important.
Experience with front-end performance optimization techniques is preferred.
Knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD is beneficial.
Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
Familiarity with interacting with RESTful APIs is required.
Experience with HTML, JSON, JavaScript, CSS is necessary.
C# experience is a plus.
AWS Serverless experience is a plus.
User Interface design experience is required.
Proven graphic design skills are a plus.

The position offers a competitive salary range from $90k - $120k depending upon experience.
This is a remote position, allowing for flexible work arrangements.
