Description:

  • Turnitin is seeking a Mid-Level UX Researcher to join their remote team, focusing on enhancing educational outcomes through innovative technology.
  • The role involves planning and executing end-to-end research projects, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and working closely with the UX Research team.
  • Responsibilities include independently leading research projects, defining research objectives, providing insights into user needs, and advocating for best practices in UX research.
  • The researcher will engage in participatory workshops, present findings to stakeholders, and continuously seek and provide feedback on research efforts.
  • The position requires a solid foundation in research practices and the ability to connect insights to business results in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in psychology, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience is essential.
  • Candidates should have 2-5 years of industry experience in UX research or related fields, demonstrating expertise in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • A strong research portfolio showcasing various methods and their impact on product improvements is required.
  • Desirable qualifications include experience in the education sector, researching AI topics, and proficiency in quantitative research methodologies.
  • Essential personal attributes include focused prioritization, curiosity, articulate communication, accountability, collaboration, resourcefulness, adaptability, and a commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
