Remote Web3 Protocol Research Lead

Description:

• DB Forest is looking for a visionary Head of Protocol to lead the development of their decentralized cloud services marketplace.
• The role involves designing tokenomics, choosing token lock-up and DAO contracts, deploying L2 App Chain, identifying protocol integrations, designing a decentralized database secrets exchange, and coordinating open-source contributions.
• The position requires expertise in protocol design, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, Solidity, Rust, Javascript, Linux, git, token models, decentralized governance, and DAOs.
• The company aims to solve cloud vendor lock-in issues, promote fair market competition, and support smaller cloud providers to compete with industry giants like AWS and Azure.
• The successful candidate will work with a highly experienced team dedicated to changing the cloud market.

Requirements:

• Strong skills in Solidity, with knowledge of Rust, Javascript, Linux, and git.
• Proficiency in different token models including mining, staging, yields, burning, vesting, and allocations.
• Understanding of decentralized governance, DAOs, and existing token model implementations by various projects.
• Ability to take leadership and ownership in designing tokenomics, choosing contracts, deploying App Chain, identifying integrations, and coordinating contributions.
